The mission of the Somervell County Water District is to provide a reliable supply of high quality, safe, and affordable drinking water to the citizens of Somervell County in keeping with sound responsible management and conservation practices. The District is committed to providing this service using a combination of ad valorem taxes, fees and water rates that are the most advantageous to the tax payer. The Board, staff and all employees of the District are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and accessibility to the public.

Water was restored early this morning. Please continue to boil water until further notice. Samples are being pulled this morning and will be delivered to the lab shortly after that. It can take up to 24 hours to receive results. Again, this is only for the County Roads listed in the original notice that were affected by the line break on 9-18-24.

BOIL WATER NOTICE
There has been another water line break that is affecting SCWD customers on the following County Roads...301, 301A, 313, 313 Loop, 313 Spur, 318, 321, 326, 327 and all customers south of CR 326 on North Hwy 56. Crews are working to restore the water and it should be repaired by morning. Unfortunately, this will result in the need to boil water again until we can get samples to the lab and get results back. We apologize for this inconvenience. The boil water notice is ONLY for the County Roads listed above.
You MUST do a one time sign up/registration. After that, simply login in to see your account balance, pay your invoice, sign up for paperless billing or to set up automatic credit card payments. For auto bank draft, you must call us at 254-897-4141 with your banking information or submit a check with a note that you would like auto draft. All auto pymts will be done on the 1st of the month.
