Raw Water Pump Station

The Raw Water Pump Station contract was awarded in May 2006 to Gracon Construction, Inc. for $3,589,160. The completion date was December 2007.

The District’s raw water pump station is located adjacent to the town lake on the banks of the Paluxy river. The pump station allows the District the ability to fill the Wheeler Branch Reservoir with Paluxy river water at a rate of over 25 cubic feet per second. The pump station houses two 500hp pumps with space availabe to add two additional 500hp pumps at a later date.
