1080 Elevated Storage Tank

The District’s engineering firm of Freese and Nichols Inc. began design and construction documents for the District’s 1080 Elevated Storage Tower in September of 2008.

The project was bid out in July of 2010. The successful bidder was Caldwell Tank Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky with a low bid of $536,000. Construction of the Tower was finished the summer of 2011 and went into operation in October of 2011 when the districts water treatment plant came online. The 125,000 gallon Tower is 170 feet tall and located on HWY 56 north of Glen Rose.
